       soot, but then maybe not

15. Early  settlers used the trail to travel between the  English settlements of Boston and the Dutch  settlements in New York.                                  

16. You will get wet…count on it

17. You’ll need a bathing suit or shorts

18. Bring multiple layers of clothing, but no cotton 

19. Bring sandals or water shoes. NOT flip-flops

20. Camp in primeval woods

21. You will need well-fitting hiking boots

22. Hike on a splendiferous trail                                            

23. There will be plenty of food                                                      

24. If you see a grey lock, you have gone too far                

25. The activity destination is named for a beautiful spring-flowering tree that is valued for its flowers fruit and variations in growth habit and size.
